Add team members and assign roles
Create user accounts for your team and pick the right roles so each person sees only the modules they are authorised to use.
You need the Admin role (or higher) to complete the steps on this page.
Every user signs in with an email and password and is assigned one or more roles. Roles decide both which sidebar entries appear and which actions the server will accept. Real Estate Suite ships with a complete role catalogue — in most cases, you simply assign existing roles rather than creating new ones.
There are two parallel ways to add a user. Admin → Users is for anyone who just needs a login. HR & Payroll → Employees is for payroll-tracked staff and can create the matching login at the same time.
Add a user
Step 1: Open Admin → Users
Scroll to Admin → Users in the sidebar. Click Add user.

Step 2: Fill in name, email, phone and a temporary password
The password must be at least 8 characters. The user will be forced to change it on first sign-in.
Step 3: Tick the roles for this user
Scroll the Roles grid and tick every role that applies. Most people only need one role, but you can combine (for example, Sales Head + Partner Manager).
Only Super Admins can assign the Super Admin role. Treat it as a break-glass account and limit it to one or two trusted people.
Step 4: Save
Click Create user. Share the temporary password with the user out-of-band.

Admins can review every permission a role has — and add custom roles — under Admin → Roles.
Reset a user's password
Step 1: Open the user's profile
Open Admin → Users and click the user's name.
Step 2: Click Reset password
Enter a new temporary password at least 8 characters long. The user is forced to change it on next sign-in.
Deactivate or reactivate a user
A deactivated user cannot sign in but their records (bookings, payments, audit log) stay intact. Deactivate someone who has left the firm; delete only test accounts.
Step 1: Open the user's profile
Open Admin → Users and click the user's name.
Step 2: Toggle Active
Switch the Status dropdown to Inactive and save. Any active session is revoked immediately so the user cannot continue after save.
