Manage floors and units
Define the tower / floor / unit hierarchy for apartment and villa projects so sales can book individual flats with the right pricing and status.
Apartment and villa projects need child inventory under each plot — the floors inside a tower, and the units on each floor. The Floors and Units screen gives you a hierarchical view: expand a plot to see its floors, expand a floor to see its units.
Open the hierarchy
Step 1: Open Catalogue → Floors / Units
The page opens scoped to a single project. Pick the project from the top filter.

Add floors under a plot
Step 1: Click a plot's chevron to expand it
The expand action loads the floors already attached to the plot.
Step 2: Click Add floor
Enter Floor label (e.g. "Ground", "1", "2"), Floor plan URL (optional) and the Total built-up area for the floor.
Step 3: Save
The capacity toast at the top of the screen updates to reflect the plot's remaining capacity.
The sum of all floors' built-up area cannot exceed the parent plot's area. If a save is blocked, bump the plot's area first.
Add units on a floor
Step 1: Expand the floor
Click the floor's chevron to load its existing units.
Step 2: Click Add unit
Fill in Unit code (unique within the project), Carpet area, Built-up area, Super built-up area, Price per sq ft and Facing (East, West, North, South, NE, NW, SE, SW).
Step 3: Save and mark Available
New units start DRAFT. Switch to AVAILABLE to make them bookable.
Bulk-add units on a floor
Step 1: Expand the floor, click Bulk add
Paste rows in the format UNIT_CODE,CARPET,BUILTUP,SBUA,PRICE_PSF,FACING — one per line.
Step 2: Preview and confirm
The preview flags duplicates, over-capacity totals and bad enums before saving. Confirm to create the lot.
Edit a single unit
Step 1: Click the unit code
The unit detail opens in a side panel so you can edit without leaving the hierarchy view.
Step 2: Update area, price or status
Status changes propagate immediately — e.g. moving a unit to BLOCKED hides it from the booking wizard.
