Set up payment plans
Define reusable payment schedules — construction-linked, down-payment, flexi — so bookings land with the right instalment plan from the start.
A payment plan is a template of instalments — how a booking's total is split, when each slice is due, and what triggers it. Define the plans your firm offers once, then pick them from a dropdown on every new booking.
Supported plan kinds
| Kind | How instalments trigger |
|---|---|
| Construction-linked | Each instalment is tied to a construction milestone (foundation, slab, plaster, possession). Dues fire when the milestone is marked complete. |
| Time-linked | Each instalment is due on a fixed date relative to booking (T+30, T+60). |
| Down-payment | Large upfront, small balance at possession. |
| Flexi | Hybrid — some time-linked, some milestone-linked. |
Create a payment plan
Step 1: Open CRM → Payment plans
Click New plan.

Step 2: Pick the kind and name
The name appears in the booking wizard dropdown. Pick a clear name ("30:40:30 CLP", "20% down + 80% possession").
Step 3: Add instalments
Each instalment has a label, percent of total (or absolute amount), a trigger (date offset or milestone) and an optional description. The sum of percentages must be 100%.
Step 4: Save
The plan is now available to pick on CRM → Bookings → Add booking.
Overrides
Occasionally a booking needs a non-standard schedule. Sales can request a payment plan override — the override routes through Approvals → Payment plan overrides before it is applied to the booking.
See Payment plan overrides for the approver flow.
