Manage projects
Create and maintain the project master — the top level of your inventory hierarchy that plots, units, bookings and expenses all roll up to.
A project is the parent record for every piece of inventory you sell and every expense you book against it. Plots, units, bookings, site visits, project vendors, milestones and progress photos all tie back to a project. Keep the master lean — one project per real site.
How it works
Each project has a name, type (township, apartment, villa, commercial), city, planned handover date and status (DRAFT, ACTIVE, SOLD_OUT, COMPLETED, ARCHIVED). Status drives whether sales can book against it: only ACTIVE projects appear in the booking wizard.
Projects support three inventory kinds in parallel: raw plots, floor-and-unit grids (apartment towers), and villa plots with built-up units. The project detail page splits them into tabs so you can manage each cleanly.
Create a project
Step 1: Open Catalogue → All projects
Click Add project.

Step 2: Fill in identity fields
Enter Name, Type, City, Address and Planned handover. Pick a short internal Code (uppercase, no spaces) — it appears in booking numbers and reports.
Step 3: Upload marketing collateral
On the Media tab, upload the brochure, master plan map and project photos. These feed the brochure download button on the public availability page.
Step 4: Save and set to Active
New projects open in DRAFT. Once inventory is ready to sell, open the detail page and switch Status to ACTIVE.
Project detail tabs
| Tab | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Overview | Headline KPIs — total inventory, booked, available, revenue booked. |
| Inventory | Plots, floors and units attached to this project. |
| Bookings | Every booking against this project with status and total value. |
| Site visits | Visits scheduled against this project. |
| Milestones | Construction milestones with target and actual dates. |
| Media | Brochure, maps, photos. |
| Documents | Legal documents attached to the project. |
Archive a project
Archive projects you no longer want cluttering lists but want to keep for reporting. An archived project is hidden from the booking wizard but all its historic records stay intact.
Step 1: Open the project
Go to Catalogue → All projects and click the project name.
Step 2: Set Status to Archived
The project disappears from every sales-facing dropdown immediately. Switch back to ACTIVE to restore.
