Record payments made
Record every outbound payment — to vendors, plot owners, employees and partners — against the originating bill or commitment.
Payments made is the complete money-out ledger. Every rupee leaving the firm — vendor bill settlements, plot owner tranches, commission payouts, employee reimbursements — is captured here with a reference back to the bill or commitment it is paying against.
How it works
Each payment-made entry has a beneficiary (vendor, plot owner, partner, employee), an amount, a mode (NEFT, RTGS, UPI, cheque), and one or more allocations against bills or commissions. Partial payments are supported — allocate across multiple bills until the amount is used up.
Record a payment
Step 1: Open CRM → Purchases → Payments made
Click Record payment.

Step 2: Pick the beneficiary type and party
Vendor, plot owner, partner or employee. The subsequent party dropdown filters to that type.
Step 3: Enter amount, date and mode
Pick the payment date, mode and reference number (UTR for NEFT/RTGS, UPI txn ID, cheque number).
Step 4: Attach the bank advice
Upload a copy of the bank's debit advice or UPI confirmation.
Step 5: Allocate across bills
The right side shows every unpaid bill against the beneficiary. The system fills oldest-first by default; override to allocate manually.
Step 6: Save
The allocated bills' outstanding amounts drop. Fully-paid bills move to PAID.
Overrides
If a payment needs a non-standard schedule (early payment with discount, part payment on legal escrow), the Sales or Accounts user can raise a purchase override — this routes through Approvals → Purchase overrides before the payment is applied.
