Manage plot owners

Keep a tidy master of the landowners you buy plots from — with KYC, bank details, revenue-share terms and purchase-side payment history.

5 min read·Updated 10 Oct 2026·catalogueplot-ownersland

A plot owner (landowner) is anyone your firm has bought — or is buying — land from. Each plot in a project ties back to a plot owner, and every payment you make to that landowner (joint-development revenue share, land cost, legal fees) is tracked against this record.

Open the plot owner master

Step 1: Open CRM → Parties → Plot owners

Sales roles cannot see this list; Admin, Operations and Accounts can.

Add a plot owner

Step 1: Click Add plot owner

Fill in personal details — Full name, Phone (E.164), Email, PAN, Aadhaar (optional), Date of birth, Occupation.

Step 2: Add permanent and current address

The address block supports a "same as permanent" toggle so you only type the current address if it differs.

Step 3: Add bank account details

Enter Bank name, Account number, IFSC. These feed every payment-made entry so the accountant does not re-key them for every tranche.

Step 4: Save

The plot owner is now available as a reference on Add plot and on Purchases → Payments made entries.

Attach documents

Each plot owner has a Documents tab for KYC scans (PAN, Aadhaar, address proof) and transactional papers (sale agreement, revenue-sharing agreement, power of attorney).

Step 1: Open the Documents tab

Click Add document, pick the type, upload the scan.

Payment history

The Payments tab shows every payment you have made to this plot owner — scheduled instalments, overrides, and ad-hoc tranches.

Step 1: Open the Payments tab

See total committed, paid, pending and overdue. Each row links to the underlying payment made entry.

What's next

  • Plots — tie each plot back to its plot owner.
  • Payments made — record a payment to a plot owner.
