Manage plots
Add and maintain plot-level inventory under a project — including status, area, pricing and the plot owner it was purchased from.
A plot is a sellable unit of land under a project. For plotted developments the plot is the final sellable item; for apartments and villas it is the parent of floors and units. Every plot carries area, pricing, status and a reference to the plot owner (landowner) it was purchased from.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
DRAFT |
Freshly created, not yet available for sale. |
AVAILABLE |
Visible to sales in the booking wizard and availability page. |
RESERVED |
Short-term soft hold from a confirmed site visit. |
BOOKED |
A booking has been raised and approved. |
SOLD |
Final sale deed registered. |
BLOCKED |
Admin-only hold (legal issue, approval pending). |
The status transitions are enforced server-side — for example, you cannot move from SOLD back to AVAILABLE without an Admin override.
Add a plot
Step 1: Open the project
Open Catalogue → All projects, open the project, then open the Inventory tab.

Step 2: Click Add plot
Fill in Plot code (unique within the project), Area in sq ft, Price per sq ft and the plot owner this plot was acquired from.
Step 3: Mark as Available
New plots start DRAFT. Switch to AVAILABLE once the plot is ready to sell.
Bulk-add plots
For plotted developments, adding plots one by one is slow. Use the paste-CSV form on the Inventory tab to add many at once.
Step 1: Click Bulk add
Paste a comma-separated list of plot codes, areas and prices into the textarea. The preview shows what will be created.
Step 2: Review and confirm
Rows with errors (duplicate codes, missing fields) are tinted rose. Fix in the paste box and re-preview, then click Create.
Capacity gate
For apartment and villa plots that host child floors or units, the system enforces a capacity gate — the sum of child unit areas cannot exceed the plot's own area. The gate shows live as you add floors or units.
If a child floor refuses to save because of a capacity error, open the plot and bump its total area first, or trim one of the floors below.
What's next
- Floors and units — add child inventory under a plot.
- Plot owners — manage the landowners you buy plots from.
